BIOGRAPHY OF MARIANNA LUFT
(Formerly known as "Neesa")
Marianna was born in Miami and grew up in Florida with good, caring parents who loved her. She was a very active child, who did beauty pageants, ceramics, bowling, baton classes, and many years of classical dancing. Marianna had two older brothers, and one of them physically abused her on a regular basis. Her parents divorced when she was nine. Despite Marianna having a troubled childhood in some ways, she was overall a well-behaved and reasonably happy child. At the age of eighteen Marianna lost her virginity, and started doing phone sex for money and going to fetish parties.
Marianna was planning to go to college, and was on her way driving there in her first week, when she got into a very serious car accident, and her head went through the car window. Marianna ended up in the hospital in a coma, with a very extensive head injury, which caused some permanent mental damage. (Marianna speculates that this may have contributed to her later unwise decisions to enter stripping, porn and prostitution.)
Marianna started stripping at twenty, after being recruited by a hairdresser who got a financial cut for recruiting young women to a strip club. Marianna was then recruited into the porn industry when she was twenty-two, by a photographer who was visiting a strip club that she was working at. Marianna decided to do porn partly because at that time she wanted to become famous, but mostly to take revenge against an ex-boyfriend. For most of her porn work Marianna was known as "Neesa," but for some of her time in porn she was identified as "Heidi."
Marianna appeared in thirteen porn magazines at the beginning of her career. She then did twenty-seven porn films over the next ten years, while she also continued stripping. Like many young women, Marianna started out in porn only doing softcore scenes and photo shoots, and never thought she would do very hardcore porn. But she eventually ended up doing it, after getting closer and closer, one step at a time. Additionally Marianna worked in legal prostitution in Nevada -- as a registered prostitute at the Bunny Ranch. Marianna also went to school for awhile, and became a dental assistant for three years.
While Marianna was doing porn she shot a scene with the infamously abusive pornographer "Max Hardcore." (Paul Little.) He lied to her about what would happen during the scene, and ended up violently raping her. Max also forced Marianna to lick up her own vomit, that was caused to be thrown up by his violently deep-throating her. (Max fed her a sandwich before the scene intentionally, so Marianna would have something colorful to throw up.)
Max Hardcore also urinated in Marianna's mouth, forcefully pulled her eye open and ejaculated into it, and degraded her both verbally and physically in other extreme ways -- all of which she did not consent to ahead of time, or at the time he did those acts. Marianna was alone on the set with multiple men, and felt very afraid and threatened -- like she had a virtual gun being held to her head. So she did what she was forced and threatened to do, and then completed her exit interview, which included being paid only $100 for the scene. During the interview, Marianna said whatever Max wanted her to, and signed whatever he put in front of her -- so she would be allowed to leave alive, and not be further assaulted. (Note: This sort of abusive experience is all too common in porn. Most young women are just too afraid to tell the truth about it.)
Additionally, Marianna contracted gonorrhea and chlamydia of the throat from Max Hardcore in that scene. (She also later caught a very severe and painful case of vaginitis, from another porn scene that she did.)
Marianna reported Max Hardcore to the police, but her report was not taken seriously, and he was not prosecuted for raping her. However, Marianna was later interviewed by prosecutors who brought charges against Max Hardcore for obscenity. He ultimately spent two and a half years in prison for those charges. Throughout her years in porn and the sex trade Marianna was also raped other times (off the set), and abused repeatedly in various other ways by multiple men. (Both on and off porn sets, in strip clubs, and while doing prostitution.) But Marianna has come through these horrific experiences as a strong and determined survivor, who wants to help other women not go through the traumatic and damaging experiences that she did.
Marianna eventually left porn and the sex trade because it didn't pay adequately to survive, (it's a myth that women get rich in the sex trade -- only a very few do so), and because it was often painful and unsafe for her. Ultimately it ended up harming her in every way -- physically, mentally, and emotionally. Marianna doing porn also upset and hurt her parents very much, and contributed to her father committing suicide.
Marianna is now speaking out against the unsafe conditions and harms of the porn industry, as well as stripping, prostitution and sex trafficking. She works specifically to prevent young women from entering porn and the sex industry, help women leave and transition to healthier lives, and help men and boys no longer use or support porn or the sex trade. Marianna is also currently an advocate against elder abuse and suicide. She still lives in Florida, where she is happily roommates with her best friend -- her adorable kitty Sushi.
